Best Television Show:
Winner: Lost- This was close for awhile, when Friday Night Lights picked up its pace, but come on, when all was said and done it was dominating, and then after the finale, it was absolutely dominating. An easy choice
Best Male Television Character:
Winner: Robert Hawkins (Jericho)- The big upset winner of the award show, he put on a run at the end of the season, and edged out this extremely competitive race. Sawyer falls just short for the third straight year, and it begs to wonder if he will ever win this, and Smash should have other chances also.
Best Female Television Character:
Winner: Taylor Townsend (The O.C)- No suspense here at all. She had the award all but dominated a long time ago, and besides a minor push by Cameron, there was no way she was losing it. The last O.C champion, it was very well deserved.
Best Reoccuring Television Character:
Winner: Mikhail Bakunin (Lost)- The other hugely close race, all five candidates had a legit claim for this title. When all was said and done though, I had to give it to the Russian who stole so many scenes, and seems to be able to cheat death. Andrew Diskoff dominated the back half of the season, when Lost was at its best.
Best Episode:
Winner: Through the Looking Glass (2) (Lost)- I hate dealing with two hour finales because of this conflict of how to handle it as an episode. I mean, in a way it gives too huge 0f an advantage, and usually it matters when I take that into account. This season, it just didn't. There is no way to not see how the season finale was the best episode of Lost ever, and that makes it easily the best episode of the season. It was a well deserved title. Oh and the "2" means I am giving the victory to the second hour, because I count an episode as 1 hour of time.
~Well, there is the end of this years Don Awards. Hopefully enjoyed them, and lets be proud looking on to 2007-2008.
